Jarrell Ranch Middle School is being built on the east side of I-35 on land the district already owns. On June 21, 2023, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees approved the schematic designs of the new school. On March 27, 2024, the board approved naming the new facility, Jarrell Ranch Middle School.

A committee has been put together to help narrow down a name for the new middle school. The committee will meet several times over the next few months to consider naming options. In the meantime, take a look at new renderings of the middle school design concept.
