About Jarrell ISD
-
Jarrell Independent School District is a fast-growth public school district in the heart of central Texas. We are conveniently located 30 miles north of Austin, south of Waco, and east of Killeen along the I-35 corridor. We have strong ties and relationships with our community. Together, we pride ourselves on being the home of The Cougars.
Our district encompasses 84 square miles. The district currently consists of four campuses. Igo Elementary and Jarrell Elementary are Pre-K through 5th-grade campuses. Both have two-way dual language programs. Jarrell Middle School includes grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, while Jarrell High School is home to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Double Creek Elementary is our third elementary school. Currently, under construction, the campus will open in the fall of the 23-24 school year.
