PSAT/SAT Testing Information

  • Taking the PSAT is an essential milestone in high school because it prepares students for the SAT, increases their chances of getting into a dream college, and can qualify students for scholarships such as the National Merit Scholarship. Although the PSAT is not required, students who choose to participate in PSAT prep see higher scores nationally on the SAT than those who do not.

Jarrell ISD is offering a 4-week preparation course for students taking the PSAT on October 26, 2023. Please complete the following interest survey so that we may gauge student needs and interest as we plan. Families can sign up for the course by completing this interest form.

The course will be eight two-hour sessions after school between 9/25-10/23. We will partner with More Than a Teacher to offer the course on the Jarrell High School campus.

Families will be able to pay for the course through RevTrack

    Testing Dates:

Thursday, October 26th: PSAT for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade

Thursday, October 26th: SAT for 12th grade.
