Community members who want to contact the Board of Trustees should email their questions to teamofeight@jarrellisd.org. Emails to the Team of Eight go to the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent. The Superintendent will respond or forward the email to the appropriate department. All Trustees receive copies of Team of Eight emails.

Community members wishing to contact the Board of Trustees regarding a specific school, teacher, or child are encouraged to begin at the level closest to the concern. For example:

• • Step One: Contact the teacher or guidance counselor 
  • Step Two: Contact the principal
  • Step Three: Contact the department head responsible for the area of concern
  • Step Four: Contact the Superintendent or designee 

People wishing to express themselves regarding the Board of Trustees or school district matters, which aren't listed on the monthly school board meeting agenda, are encouraged to use one or more of these alternatives.

• Speak during "Public Comment," which is at the start of our monthly board meetings
• Email the Team of Eight

Board members discourage citizens from providing anonymous information in any form and, in general, will not act upon it.
