At the August 16, 2023, regular monthly school board meeting, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to approve the 2023 - 24 tax rate of $1.1692.

The new tax rate is 18.5% lower than the previous year and it is the sixth year in a row the school board has reduced the tax rate. The chart below outlines the past six years. The vote followed a public hearing regarding the tax rate. There was no public comment.
