Bruce Epstein, former Place 3 Trustee, has resigned from the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees. At the February 21, 2024, school board meeting, the district hosted a special recognition for his time as a Jarrell ISD Board of Trustee. Due to redistricting, Mr. Epstein no longer lives in the area designated for Place 3. Mr. Epstein served on the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees from March 2017 to February 2024. The Board of Trustees and the Jarrell ISD community thank him for his contributions, outstanding service, and heartfelt dedication to the Jarrell Independent School District as a Board of Trustee. We also thank his wife, Pam, who supported his devotion to our students and staff!

Place 3 is currently vacant. A subcommittee of current Board members will interview interested individuals and bring one finalist to the Board for approval at a future meeting. Interested candidates must live in Place 3, which includes neighborhoods around Jarrell Elementary School. An address search can be found using this map.
