Jarrell ISD is proud to offer a variety of programs to keep students' minds and bodies active during the summer break.

Summer School
Jarrell ISD offers summer courses for credit recovery June 3-27 (not open on Fridays). For specific details, please click on this informational flyer: Summer School Information (PDF).

FREE Summer Feeding Program
Jarrell ISD and the Texas Department of Agriculture are sponsoring the summer feeding program to provide free meals for children ages 1-18 years old.

The program will be offered at Jarrell Elementary School (1615 CR 313 in Jarrell) from May 28 through June 27, Monday through Thursday. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 - 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

All children under the age of 18 are welcome. Families are not required to attend JISD or be residents of Jarrell. No application is required. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase breakfast for for $2.15 for breakfast and lunch for $3.50.

FREE Summer Library Program
The district is once again hosting a Summer Library Program (PDF) June 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27 from 8 a.m. - noon at Jarrell Elementary School (1615 CR 313). This program is free!

FREE Bridges to Growth Summer Kids' Events
The Georgetown Project is hosting several camps and programs this summer for children up to the age of 12. Space is limited, so please pre-register by calling (512)864-3008 or online at www.georgetownproject.org.
