The Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Dr. Tiffany Weiss as the district's Director of Elementary Education.  

"Dr. Weiss is a superb educator who brings a wealth of experience. We know she will do a great job working with the staff and students at our elementary campuses," said Superintendent Dr. Toni Hicks.

Tiffany Weiss joins Jarrell ISD from Temple ISD, where she is the Principal at Travis Science Academy. During her 20 years of educational experience, Dr. Weiss has served as a teacher and administrator at the elementary and secondary levels. She led an elementary school to a National Blue Ribbon Award in 2016. In addition, the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals named her this year's Region 12 Principal of the Year. 

"The Jarrell ISD community champions public schools and supports the students at the highest level. I look forward to working with our staff, students, and parents to build a strong relationship, which is key to academic success. I am thrilled to be part of the community and can't wait to cheer on the Cougars," said Dr. Weiss.

Dr. Tiffany Weiss earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University. She received her master’s degree from Tarleton State University and earned her Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Abilene Christian University.
