Alan Haire Named Jarrell ISD Athletic Director & Head Football Coach

Jarrell ISD proudly announces Alan Haire as Jarrell ISD's athletic director and head football coach.  Coach Marty Murr announced his retirement at the end of the school year.  His replacement, Alan Haire, is a new addition to the Cougar Family but has Central Texas experience.  

"We're thrilled to have Coach Haire join the Cougar Family. He has a celebrated career leading athletic programs and has over 30 years of experience with a proven track record of success. He's a highly respected coach and teacher. We know he will take Jarrell ISD athletics to the next level," said Superintendent Dr. Toni Hicks.

Alan Hair has been named "District Coach of the Year" five times and has won three back-to-back District Championships.

Most recently, Mr. Haire was the Athletic Coordinator and Head football coach at Chaparral High School in Killeen. He's also worked as a high school football offensive coordinator coach, head basketball coach, head softball coach, track coach, and golf coach in middle and high school athletics.

"It's an honor to serve the Cougar Family. A coach lays the foundation for honor, dignity, and integrity within the athletic program. I look forward to working with our teachers and coaches to build up our students and motivate them to reach their highest potential," said Coach Haire.

Coach Haire earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from Tarleton State University.
