Technology Device Pickup for the 2020-21 School Year

MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION
Jarrell ISD is providing technology devices (Chromebooks) for all middle and high school students for the 2020-21 school year. Students/families should pick up their child's device following the schedule below:

Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Aug. 13 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

High School Pickup is at the Admin Annex (508 N. 5th Street in Jarrell) and Middle School is at the JMS Vicki Kieffer Gym Entrance (101 E. Avenue F in Jarrell).

Families are strongly encouraged to pick up their child's device during these times, so that students will have access to instruction on the first day of school, Aug. 19.

ELEMENTARY INFORMATION
Jarrell ISD is also making efforts to supply Chromebooks to elementary students for Remote Learning. The intent is to provide families that do not currently have internet or a device in the household for student use. If you already have a device, please do not fill out the request as we need to serve non-connected students first.

If you would like to request a device for a Jarrell ISD enrolled student, please fill out the following form Elementary Device Request Form. Your student's school will use the contact information you provide to get in touch with you regarding the pickup of the device. Requests must be submitted by Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Jarrell ISD is offering insurance on the mobile device. Insurance is available for a 1-time $25.00 fee and will cover the first repair as long as it’s not deemed negligence or abuse. You may pay by card ($1 service fee) using this link. https://jarrell-isd.square.site/. If paying by check or cash, please place in an envelope with the student's full name, grade, and school. You can drop off payment during device pick up or deliver to the administration building. The deadline for purchase is Friday, September 4, 2020.
