Jarrell Ranch Middle School and the District Operations Center Ribbon Cuttings

On Monday, August 4, 2025, Jarrell ISD held two ribbon cuttings to celebrate the opening of our District Operations Center and Jarrell Ranch Middle School.

Nearly two hundred people joined us for the opening of Jarrell Ranch Middle School. Once the ribbon was cut, families toured the school. There was a lot of excitement and smiles.

The school was built on land the district already owned, saving taxpayers money. It's nearly 175,000 Square feet with additional land to accommodate future growth. Core Spaces are designed for a capacity of 1,200 students capacity. It also has two gyms a learning courtyard and flex spaces. View the ribbon cutting photo album.

District Operations Center Information:

The Ops Center will house our Maintenance, Transportation, and Custodial teams. The building is part of the 2023 Bond that was built to streamline our services and efficiency. View the ribbon cutting photo album.

The Ops Center includes:

Fuel stations for our buses: Having our buses fuel up on-site saves time and money. We're able to buy the gas and diesel in bulk, which saves on costs.

Bus Lift: Several lifts inside the building let our team review and make any necessary repairs on-site

Bus Wash: It takes more than an hour for our staff to wash/clean one school bus. The on-site auto bus wash does it in a few minutes.

Space: The building has bigger warehouses to store more supplies, which provides the opportunity to buy in bulk and save taxpayer money.

Both Jarrell Ranch Middle School and the District Operations Center are part of the 2023 Bond package. Voters approved the bond in May 2023.
