2021-2022 School Year Celebrations

  • Jarrell ISD recently completed a comprehensive district-wide LED lighting project. The entire district now has LED lighting, creating a brighter lighting environment for students and staff on all of their campuses. The project included 10,500 lights being upgraded from fluorescent to LED. Because of the energy savings realized by using LED lighting, the project will quickly pay for itself. In addition, the LED lighting will last 5 times longer than their traditional lighting applications, freeing up staff to tackle other items and save money on replacing lights. The annual energy cost savings is estimated at over $69,000 per year.
