The City of Jarrell and the Jarrell Police Department have generously donated $45,000 worth of radios to enhance the district's communication with local first responders.
In all, the district will receive seven radios, each one valued at approximately $6,500.
"We are very appreciative of our partnership with the City of Jarrell and Jarrell Police Department. We thank these leaders for their continued support," Assistant Superintendent Albert Hernandez said. "These radios will be a tremendous resource for Jarrell ISD. We hope to have them in place soon for our immediate use."
