Superintendent Dr. William Chapman has named Jeremy Hill as the new principal of Jarrell Middle School.

"Mr. Hill is a highly-skilled leader who is focused on student outcomes," said Chapman. "I am confident that his commitment to developing learners and providing a safe, engaging and campus environment will help lead JMS to new heights of achievement."

Since 2015, Hill has served as assistant principal at Burnet Middle School. Prior to becoming an administrator, Hill taught in Fort Bend ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and Florence ISD.

"I would like to thank the community and staff of Jarrell ISD for this fantastic opportunity at Jarrell Middle School," Hill said. "I am excited about partnering with the students, staff and community of Jarrell ISD to build positive relationships that will result in sustainable change and growth."

Hill earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2003 and a master's in educational supervision and administration from the University of Houston - Victoria in 2015.
