Daycare for Children of Employees
The district is also opening Paw Prints Child Development Center to serve the children of JISD employees. Paw Prints is currently enrolling students for the 2019-2020 school year.
- 6 weeks - 3 years $156/week
- 3 years old (potty trained) $128/week
- 4 years old (potty trained) $128/week
All payments for Paw Prints will be processed through payroll deductions and will be annualized (deducted over 12 months).

For the 2019-2020 school year, JISD is participating in TRS ActiveCare (AETNA) Levels 1-HD, ActiveCare Select, Active Care 2 (current enrollees only), First Care and Baylor Scott & White Health Plan for employee medical insurance.
Should you choose not to participate in a district medical plan, the district will contribute $100.00 each month toward supplemental insurances (i.e. dental, vision, cancer, accident insurance or Flex Spending Account (FSA)).
The district also provides a $10,000 term life insurance policy for all employees.
