Templeton Demographics presented their spring 2019 findings to the Jarrell ISD Board at the May 15, 2019 Board meeting.
Given Williamson County's low unemployment rate of 3.2 percent and the affordability of housing in the district, Templeton Demographics predicts that the district will enroll more than 2,100 students by the fall of the 2019. Over the next five years, the district is excepted to see an overall increase of more than 1,400 students. By the 2023-2024 school year, JISD is estimated have 3,310 students enrolled. Ten years out, demographers anticipate the district enrollment will be nearing 5,000 students.
