Board Election
The Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees is composed of seven members who are elected to serve three-year overlapping terms without compensation. Elections are held each year in November.

Terms Schedule: Place 2; Place 5; and Place 7
On September 24, 2025, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees cancelled the election scheduled for November 4, 2025 in accordance with Section 2.053(a) of the Texas Election Code. Candidates for Place 2, Place 5, and Place 7 were unopposed.
Below is additional information about the election and the original timeline.
Election Date: November 4, 2025
- First day to file: July 19, 2025
- Last day to file: August 18, 2025, at 5:00 pm
- Deadline to file Declaration of Write-in Candidacy in the general election is August 22, 2025 at 5:00 pm.

Application packets are available at the Jarrell ISD Administration Office, 504 N 5th Street, Jarrell, TX 76537, or by calling (512) 746-2124. All completed forms must be submitted in person or via regular mail by the designated deadline, August 18, 2025, at 4:30 pm.
