About Us

Welcome to Jarrell ISD

Jarrell Independent School District is a fast-growth public school district in the heart of central Texas. We are conveniently located 30 miles north of Austin, south of Waco, and east of Killeen along the I-35 corridor. We have strong ties and relationships with our community. Together, we pride ourselves on being the home of The Cougars.

Our district encompasses 84 square miles and currently consists of six campuses. Igo Elementary, Double Creek Elementary, and Jarrell Elementary Schools are Pre-K through 5th-grade. Jarrell Middle School and Jarrell Ranch Middle School are grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, while Jarrell High School is home to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.
